Life in Tucson is not exciting unless you look for fun. My first days in Tucson were so hard for me because I am used to living in a noisy and crowded place, but Tucson is a small, quiet city.

I tried to make life in Tucson fun, so I joined a Salsa dance class near Eller College, where I met new people. Even though I don’t have any close friends in the class yet, it’s still so much fun!

I am going to go to the UA recreation center soon. So if you want to have fun in Tucson and want to meet new people, try to attend different recreational activities that meet your interests.

I am an international student who wants to relate his first fun in Tucson.
Being bored at home, I decided one night to go out to meet new friends. I went to "Fourth Avenue" and danced. The first girl who approached me was cool and a very open person. Thus, I bought her a drink, and we started talking about anything. After the party, we exchanged phone numbers, and she became my first American friend! We still keep in touch.

Last Thursday night, I with my friends went to a bowling place in Tucson. We played bowling and all of us, though it was our first time to play bowling, did very good and enjoyed very much playing it. It was a lot of fun. Going to places like the bowling place in Tucson is a lot of fun.

I like going out to eat in Tucson. :)

On 4th Avenue:
I like going to the Chocolate Iguana for coffee & pastry, and then sitting outside to watch everyone walking around.

My friends told me Casbah Teahouse has a very relaxing patio and delicous vegetarian food.

The B-Line is a cute little diner. They have good salads and soups.

Downtown:
You must visit The Cup for breakfast sometime. The Cup is in Hotel Congress, on Congress street, so it is easy to find. They have unique decoration, with pennies on the floor and a chandelier made from wine bottles. I recommend Blueberry Pancakes and the Mole in the Hole.

It is said that we dont have enough fun in Tucson. However, if we look for that, for sure we will find varieties of ways to get fun and have pleasent time in Tucson. I was thinking the same, but when I went to Bowling with my friends, I found that very intersting and a place I would recommend for anybody tired of studying and regular commuting from CESL to home and from home to CESL.

Next thing is the University recreation center which is located near to the university. This place will help us find new friends and do our regular excercise.
